Two reviewers fault Orion's Nova rules. facundo (AR, verified, Sep 15, 2 stars) says he passed the evaluation and then learned of rules never mentioned, like a 3% cushion; he also lists consistency, no news trading, less drawdown than the evaluation and a trailing stop, and calls Nova accounts a trap. Carlos Zuleta (CO, unverified, Sep 6, 2 stars) calls the rules absurd, naming the consistency rule, a 3% cushion to withdraw and dynamic drawdown. Orion answered both. It told facundo on Sep 16 that each account type's rules are available before purchase and “No existen normas ocultas”, no hidden rules, and told Carlos on Sep 10 that Nova may not suit every style, listing three other programs.

Two verified reviewers object to how Orion handles US restrictions. HF (BG, Sep 21, 2 stars) says about $5,000 was paid out, then over $7,000 was requested across three funded 100K accounts and Orion breached all three over MT5 use in the USA. HF says a $4,000 MT5 payout was denied, about $3,000 on two Match Trader accounts was paid and the MT5 account refunded. José (US, Sep 18, 1 star) says Orion accepted US cards and an Orlando billing address though KYC bars verification once funded, so it should have refused payment. Orion answered 26 of the 76 reviews since Sep 5, including 5 of the 9 rated 3 stars or lower, but neither of these. Its newest reply we captured is dated Sep 16.

Thirteen distinct Trustpilot reviewers, publishing on 2026-09-21, say their accounts were breached, blocked, closed, suspended or terminated over a trade around a news event. Twelve are one-star, one is two-star. Eleven say the event was not red or high-impact; eight of them name Forex Factory. Five describe the firm's own calendar: one says it marked the same event restricted, one says the event appeared about 30 minutes later, one says medium events are treated as high-impact, one says the dashboard calendar showed no data, one says it listed only low-impact news. The firm has not replied to any of the 120 reviews pulled.
