Discount codes stack on top of several of these — Traders Launch's 20% code takes its standard 100K from $159 to $127.20 through August 17, and Top One is running a 55% launch code on its 2.0 release.
Where the cost went
Read the first two rows together. A $39 or $5 door is not the price of the account — it is the price of starting the evaluation. The balance moved to the activation fee, charged after you pass. Top One's $39 entry sits in front of an unchanged $139–$359 activation ladder; Maven's $5 entry sits in front of $117–$589.
Meanwhile the firms cutting the *activation* side — The Trading Pit to $0, Apex to a $59 flat — are competing on exactly the number the cheap-door firms are leaning on.
The comparison that matters
Headline entry price is now the least informative number on a pricing page. Compare total cost to a first payout: entry, plus activation, plus the realistic number of resets at that firm's reset price ($35 at Top One, $49 on Apex legacy resets). Two products with identical $100K stickers can differ by hundreds of dollars on that total — and the gap is growing.
