Trustpilot has pulled For Traders' star rating and put a red warning badge on its profile, after purging reviews it says were fake. The 3.9 it was serving for the firm as late as August 15 is gone; visitors now get a warning where the stars used to be. And the firm? The same week its rating vanished, it tripled its max allocation to $300K and kept the discount codes rolling.

What happened to For Traders on Trustpilot?

Open the firm's Trustpilot page today and there is no star rating at all. In its place sits a red Warning badge and one sentence: "This company's rating is unavailable due to a breach of our guidelines."

Scroll down and Trustpilot gets specific: "We've removed a number of fake reviews for this company."

The rating wasn't lowered or recalculated. It's hidden. The page still lists every remaining review (1,705 at our August 15 capture, 1,708 by August 17), but the one number traders actually skim for, a 3.9 as of the morning it disappeared, is simply not there anymore.

Why did Trustpilot remove For Traders' rating?

Trustpilot doesn't do this casually. Its enforcement ladder starts with quiet takedowns and an educational email, climbs to a formal warning, and tops out at contract termination and lawyers. The public Consumer Warning that hides a TrustScore sits near the top of that ladder, and that is the state For Traders' profile is in right now. Which rungs Trustpilot climbed on the way, it hasn't said. Its two notices name the what, not the who: a guidelines breach, and fake reviews removed. Neither says who wrote them.

Trustpilot's guidelines describe fake reviews as ones that "don't reflect a genuine service or buying experience," including reviews bought from review sellers and reviews "written with the intention of manipulating a business's TrustScore."

The fake-review call is Trustpilot's own, published on its page. For Traders hasn't disputed it. It hasn't said anything at all, in fact.

Were there warning signs about For Traders' reviews?

Yes. We wrote one down five days early.

On August 10, our scoring notes flagged For Traders' Trustpilot profile as support-praise heavy, with a repetitive run of reviews thanking the same support agent by name, and no active review invitations running that would explain the surge. It was sitting at 3.9 from 1,699 reviews, the same score Trustpilot would pull five days later.

The shape of the review base was odd on its own:

  • 5-star: 72%
  • 4-star: 6%
  • 3-star: 2%
  • 2-star: 1%
  • 1-star: 19%

A huge five-star pile sitting directly on top of a fat one-star tail is the shape that makes review analysts squint. That read is ours, for the record, not Trustpilot's.

And according to PropFirmMap's trust timeline, this isn't the profile's first suspension: it records the profile recovering from an earlier one on April 13, 2026, when the rating came back at 4 of 5 with 1,667 reviews. Four months later, the badge is back.

What does PropFirmMap say about For Traders?

The suspension isn't just our screenshot. PropFirmMap, an aggregator that tracks Trustpilot status across the industry, lists it independently and puts this banner on the firm's page: "This firm's TrustPilot profile has been flagged for fake or manipulated reviews. The displayed rating may not be reliable."

Its accounting is blunt:

  • A 20-point "TrustPilot Suspended" reputation penalty on its composite trust score
  • Trustpilot rating scored 0.0 out of 25 points, listed as "Not assessed"
  • Verdict on its trust-check page: "Proceed With Caution"

PropFirmMap runs affiliate partnerships with many of the firms it lists, For Traders included. It flagged its partner anyway.

Has For Traders responded to the suspension?

Not a word, as far as we can find: nothing on the firm's site, nothing in our social monitoring, and its support team, which still answers individual Trustpilot reviews within days, hasn't touched the badge sitting at the top of the page.

The silence is not for lack of news. In the same week the rating vanished, For Traders tripled its max allocation to $300K across all account types, shipped a Loyalty Club, and kept the promos rolling: a 50% code on instant accounts, a 25% summer code, and a $9 pay-after-pass offer. None of it mentions the badge.

Is For Traders a scam?

A pulled Trustpilot rating is a finding about review manipulation, not about whether traders get paid. Trustpilot's notice covers the reviews, full stop. It says nothing about payouts. For Traders claims $10M+ paid out to 150K+ customers across 130+ countries; those are its own homepage numbers, and nobody has independently checked them.

On our board, For Traders sits in A tier. The suspension deepened its red-flag score, and the rating that used to feed its trust profile is now gone, so that placement is under more pressure than it was a week ago. The board re-scores nightly. If the picture changes, it will say so.
