The row went public at 12:36 PM on 7 September, when @Fx_priest1 posted the breach email Goat Funded Trader had sent him. It drew 103 likes and 56 replies. Two traders were arguing about it in his thread by that evening, and the firm's own verified account was replying to it by 12:50 AM the next morning.
At 7:22 AM on 8 September, roughly nineteen hours in, @SayLessFX posted a thread headed "GFT SCAM EXPOSED" over a photograph of the man he captions "The Fouder of The ULTIMATE Prop firm Scandal" (his spelling). Three weeks earlier he had announced a partnership with AquaFunded, using that firm's own artwork. Both firms are listed on our board.
We counted ten individual accounts arguing this out over the two days. Six carry a recorded commercial relationship with a prop firm, either in X's own affiliation badge or in our affiliate registry, and one of the six is the breached trader himself. Of the four that carry nothing, @FaesalSalisu and @piplord1234 describe denied payouts of their own; @Dioslev is arguing on @Fx_priest1's behalf and @Nassky_11 is posting a general warning about the firm. Goat Funded Trader's own account and a prop-firm news account also posted, and neither is counted in the ten.

Who is SayLessFX and which prop firm is he partnered with?
AquaFunded, since 14 August. He announced it himself: "Proud to announce that I've officially partnered with @AquaFunded, one of the fastest-growing, trader-focused prop firms in the industry!" The post carries the firm's own creative, reading OFFICIAL PARTNER over his handle and aquafunded.com. It has 175 likes and 74 replies.

Our own affiliate registry, read on 8 September, records the same thing from the same post: @SayLessFX, badged, AquaFunded, August 2026 to now. It also records four earlier relationships: NairaProp, Funding Pips in September 2023, Instant Funding in October 2024 and Starter Prop in July 2024. His reach on file is 22,220.
Twenty-five days after the AquaFunded announcement, he posted the thread headed "GFT SCAM EXPOSED". That word is his. It is not ours, and we are not applying it to any firm or any person in this story.
In the same post he sets out his own history with the firm he is attacking: "My Total prop firm payouts is sitting over $70,000" and "A fraction of them included GFT, I've had about $2k payouts from GFT in 2024". Both are his figures and we have not verified either. The second one is worth holding on to, because it is his own statement that Goat Funded Trader has paid him.

There is a second connection, and it runs to a firm that is not on our board at all.
On 24 August, at 3:37 AM, @Fx_priest1 quote-posted @SayLessFX's NairaProp payout certificate: 63,946.25 naira, an 800k Challenge, a scan-to-verify code pointing at nairaprop.com, a signature captioned CEO and Founder. His own text above it reads "Get account as low as 3000 naira from @nairaprop and receive payout instantly", followed by his personal referral link, nairaprop.com/?ref=USER12D7.

Seven hours later @SayLessFX quote-posted NairaProp's own promotion for its one-phase accounts, which the firm prices from 13,608 naira, and added: "Use code 'LESS' for 25% off and text me for extra 50k account".

So the breached trader and the account that headed the 8 September thread were both selling NairaProp on the same day in August, each with his own code. Our registry carries a NairaProp row for both of them and for nobody else in this story.
That is a shared commercial interest in one small third firm. We looked for a corporate link between NairaProp, AquaFunded and Goat Funded Trader and found nothing that establishes one. NairaProp is not listed on FirmTiers; it appears in our registry only as a firm name with no tier attached.
There is one more thing the two of them share, and it is @Fx_priest1 who raised it. At 8:21 AM on 8 September he posted that Goat Funded Trader had accused @SayLessFX of the same category of offence in 2024, and that it was settled: "Interview was scheduled and Edward apologized and send him his account." He characterises the firm and the man in terms we are not repeating. The 2024 episode is his account of it and we have no capture from 2024 to check it against.

Which prop firms are the other accounts in the argument tied to?
Two sources here. X shows a small organisation badge beside some of these accounts' names, and the badge links to a firm's own X account. You can see it next to "ISAAC | GFT" in the capture below. We read that badge as the firm having affiliated the account on the platform, and that read is ours. The second source is our own affiliate registry, which is built from public posts.
Read on 8 September:
- @EdwardXLreal, the account @SayLessFX aimed the thread at: X badge reads Goat Funded Trader and links to @GoatFunded. Our registry lists him as a badged Goat Funded Trader affiliate, on a single row with no source post behind it. @SayLessFX calls him the founder of a scandal, not of the firm, and we have not sourced any corporate role for him from the firm's own site or company record. We are not asserting one.
- @imitini, posting as "ISAAC | GFT": X badge reads Goat Funded Trader. Our own registry has this handle with no firm attached at all, which is a gap on our side rather than a finding about the account.
- @SpeedouForex: X badge reads Funded Trader Markets. Our registry has him badged with Funded Trader Markets since September 2026, and promoting FundingPips from July 2023 to August 2026.
- @ighotrades: X badge reads Blue Guardian. Our registry lists Blue Guardian as his current firm, and separately records him as a badged AquaFunded affiliate since December 2025 and a badged Alpha Capital affiliate since August 2026.
- @Dioslev, @piplord1234, @Nassky_11 and @FaesalSalisu: no X badge, and none of the four is in our registry.
- @LewisAquaFunded, the account @FaesalSalisu tagged in his original complaint, is recorded in our registry as AquaFunded staff, added by a person rather than by the pipeline.

@imitini's reply to @SayLessFX at 7:52 AM on 8 September: "It's funny that you think cooking up false allegations helps you. Violate the rules and the rules will be applied."
The two accounts at the centre of the argument are less tidy.
@Fx_priest1, the breached trader, describes his own relationship in his origin post: accused "by a firm I trusted & work with close to 2 yrs @GoatFunded". Our registry lists Goat Funded Trader as his current firm, but that row is the weakest of the ten we hold on him. Its only source is his bare profile address, with no post behind it, and the only relationship our data flags as current is a badged partnership with Capital Mint Markets, which he announced on 17 August. The other eight rows are NairaProp, MyFundedCapital, Alpha Capital Group, PropHelix, BEM Funding, Funded By Earnex, Lionheart Funding Program and Investabl.

So we are not resting his Goat Funded Trader relationship on our own database. Two other people in the thread state it, in his defence rather than against him. @SpeedouForex, at 1:39 PM on 7 September: "This is not funny tho. And u were their affiliate for that matter. Let them resolve this na". @Dioslev, at 3:01 PM: "@GoatFunded do well to look into this, if he has been trading with you for as long as possible and also actively promote d the firm to his community, he shouldn't be ropped into this kind of thing."

In the captures we hold, "you promoted this firm" is said on the trader's side, as an argument that a two-year partner deserves a closer look. Nobody in these receipts turns it round on him.
One thing changed between our two readings of X's badge, and we cannot explain it. In our capture of 27 August, @Fx_priest1's account carried a Goat Funded Trader badge and @SayLessFX's carried an AquaFunded badge. Reading the same field on 8 September, neither account returns a badge, while @EdwardXLreal, @imitini, @SpeedouForex and @ighotrades all still do.
We do not know when either badge came off, who removed it, or why. A badge of that kind can be withdrawn by the firm or dropped by the account holder. In @Fx_priest1's case his trading account was breached in between, which on its own would end a partnership. Those are two dated readings of one field and we are not building anything on top of them.
What has Goat Funded Trader said about the copy trading accusation?
The firm has answered on the substance, in public, from its own verified account. Quoted inside @SayLessFX's own 6:56 AM post on 8 September is a reply from @GoatFunded to @SayLessFX, @EdwardXLreal and @Fx_priest1:
> 90% of the trades were identical to those on other accounts, same trades on multiple days and repeatedly from the same IP. What a coincidence. > > 5 DIFFERENT USERS, ACCESSING FROM THE SAME IP, AND THESE SAME 5 USERS ALSO HAVE THE SAME EXACT TRADES.
That is the firm's own assertion and we have not verified any part of it. We have no IP logs, no execution records and no view of the other four accounts. The quote is as posted apart from one dash we re-punctuated, and it runs on past the point the embed cuts.
@EdwardXLreal, whose photograph runs at the top of the "GFT SCAM EXPOSED" thread, posted the same figures under his own name at 11:26 AM, and again at 11:33 AM added: "We apply the rules to everyone, no special treatment". The same post opens with a line calling the people making the accusation cheaters trying to blackmail a firm. That is his characterisation of them and it is not ours.

The breach email itself, which @Fx_priest1 published against himself and which is legible in three of the receipts here, is more specific again. It names a window of 19 to 25 August 2026, a total of 21 trades, and a per-account breakdown against masked account numbers: four matching trades with 315\*\*\*\*61 across two trading days, four with 50\*\*\*25, four with 414\*\*\*\*63, three with 514\*\*\*\*62 across three days, and more below the crop. It refers to an attached report that has not been published.
At 8:58 AM on 8 September, @ighotrades put the remaining gap to the firm, quoting @EdwardXLreal back at him:
> can you provide the date we all can verify and this trader's that copied him > > Are they ghost ?
Part of that has an answer already sitting in the breach email: the dates are there and the counterparties are there in masked form. What is not public, from the firm or from anyone, is the report the email refers to, or any identification of the five accounts beyond the mask. Nobody has produced either.

@ighotrades carries X's Blue Guardian badge and appears in our registry as a badged AquaFunded affiliate. We are telling you who is asking because you would want to know. It does not make the question any less fair.
Why did an AquaFunded trader answer a thread about Goat Funded Trader?
Because he says AquaFunded did the same thing to him, and he had the paperwork.
At 8:56 AM on 8 September, @SayLessFX posted a request for a compiled list of every payout he says Goat Funded Trader had rejected this year. At 9:20 AM, @FaesalSalisu replied to it with his own case, against AquaFunded, which is the firm @SayLessFX partners with.

His original post is from 21 August: "This is really unacceptable, this account has been active since February till date. I have been trading this consistently adhering to all rules maintaining the 15% consistency rule only to reach payout after 7 months and then got denied that I copy". He addressed it to @LewisAquaFunded and @AquaFunded, and attached four images, including the firm's breach email.

That email, in AquaFunded's words: "after a comprehensive review of your trading history and account activities, we have detected instances of copy trading, which is a clear violation of our established Terms and Conditions at AquaFunded." It goes on to blacklist his name and email address from any future participation in the firm's programs. Unlike the Goat Funded Trader letter, it names no date, no trade count and no counterparty account. We have taken that case apart on its own, in a separate piece, along with the other traders reporting the same accusation from the same firm.

@FaesalSalisu is not in our affiliate registry and carries no firm badge on X. He is a trader, and on the evidence in front of us he is the least commercially entangled person in the argument.
Does Goat Funded Trader work with over 300 influencers?
That number is @SayLessFX's, from the post at 6:56 AM on 8 September, 26 minutes before the "GFT SCAM EXPOSED" thread: "Their affiliate can't speak and other similar firms have same because they will terminate their contract. GFT alone works with over 300 influencers, is it clear to you people now?"

We can test it against our own registry, up to a point. On 8 September it holds 615 affiliate accounts across 56 listed firms:
- 111 accounts carry a Goat Funded Trader relationship of any kind in their history. 48 have it as their current firm.
- Counting the futures brand as well, 118 distinct accounts.
- Those 111 accounts hold 113 rows between them, because two accounts carry two rows each. By kind: 80 promotion, 31 badged, 2 employment.
- 57 of the 111 have a follower count on file. They total 1,631,487.
- Goat Funded Trader is the largest single firm in our registry on both measures, ahead of Blue Guardian at 100 accounts ever and AquaFunded at 88.
That is not a rebuttal, and we would rather you did not read it as one. Our registry is a sample, not a census. 1,786 of its 1,839 relationship rows were added by the pipeline, which means they were inferred from posts we happened to scrape, against 53 added by a person. Not one of the 615 accounts has been deep-scraped yet. The honest summary is that we can document 118 and we cannot document 300, and our number is a floor rather than a ceiling.
The other half of the sentence is contradicted inside his own thread. "Their affiliate can't speak", he wrote, "because they will terminate their contract." The man who started this argument is a trader who says he worked with Goat Funded Trader for close to two years and who published its breach email against himself. He spoke. That observation is ours.
One more thing our archive holds, and the reason to be careful with it. Our affiliate drama archive contains exactly one story in total, dated 25 August 2026, heat 3, 3,720 views: "Affiliate accuses peers of reselling prop-firm giveaway accounts instead of distributing them". The account in that story is @SayLessFX. One row is not a pattern and we are not offering it as one, but it is on our board and you would find it anyway.
Does being paid by a firm make a trader's complaint wrong?
No. A breach email does not change because of who shares it, and two of the men here published one against themselves.
What this does establish.
- @SayLessFX announced an AquaFunded partnership on 14 August using the firm's own artwork, and our registry records him as a badged AquaFunded affiliate from August 2026.
- @Fx_priest1 says in his own post that he worked with Goat Funded Trader for close to two years, and two other accounts in the thread say he was its affiliate.
- Both men promoted NairaProp on 24 August, seven hours apart, each with his own referral or discount code.
- X's badge ties @EdwardXLreal and @imitini to Goat Funded Trader, @SpeedouForex to Funded Trader Markets and @ighotrades to Blue Guardian, on 8 September.
- Six of the ten accounts, including @Fx_priest1 himself, carry a firm relationship in one source or the other. The four that carry none are @FaesalSalisu, @piplord1234, @Dioslev and @Nassky_11.
- Two of the men in this argument published a firm's breach email against themselves. Those documents exist whatever anyone's commercial interests are.
What it does not establish.
- It does not establish that anyone here is lying. Nothing we captured shows a single false statement by any of them.
- It does not establish that anyone was told what to post. We found no instruction, no brief and no payment for a post, from any firm, anywhere in this record. An affiliate can hold a real grievance against a rival firm, and a real one against his own.
- It does not establish that the unaffiliated four are all victims. Two of them describe their own denied payouts; the other two are arguing about somebody else's.
- It does not establish that @Fx_priest1's or @FaesalSalisu's denials are less real because of who else is amplifying them. Both men have a firm's own written breach notice and their own trading records. That evidence does not get weaker when a partner of a rival firm shares it.
- It does not establish a corporate link between NairaProp, AquaFunded and Goat Funded Trader. Two men selling the same small third firm is a shared commercial interest and nothing more.
- It does not establish the 300 figure, in either direction.
What we could not verify. @SayLessFX's "over $70,000" in total payouts, his "about $2k payouts from GFT in 2024", the 300 influencers count, and his claim that affiliates stay quiet because contracts get terminated. All four are his, all four are uncorroborated. On the last one, no threat appears in anything we captured, and what he describes is his own reading of why other people are quiet. On the firm's side, its 90% match figure, its five-users-one-IP finding and the attached report its breach email refers to are all unverified too, and only the firm can produce them.
When a prop firm denies a payout, the loudest voices in the argument that follows are frequently people with money riding on a different firm. That is who is in the room. Affiliates have audiences and traders mostly do not, so a rival firm's partner arrives with both an audience and a reason to use it. The reader ends up weighing a document while several of the people handing it over have a commercial relationship with a competing firm, on the platform's own badge or on their own announcement. That read is ours. The document is still the thing to weigh.
Four checks you can run yourself, all free, all doable from a phone:
- Look for the organisation badge next to the account name. Where a firm has affiliated an account on the platform, a small firm logo sits beside the checkmark and taps through to the firm's own account. It is on @imitini and @EdwardXLreal in the receipts above. It is not on @FaesalSalisu.
- Read the bio and the pinned post. Partnership announcements are usually loud, because the point of them is to be seen.
- Look at the link. A referral link carries a code in it, like the nairaprop.com/?ref=USER12D7 in the capture above. A discount code offered with "use my code" is the same thing in a different wrapper.
- Read the sourcing, not just the count. Our affiliate pages list every relationship we have recorded for an account and the post each one came from. Most of ours are inferred from scraped posts, so a row with no post behind it is worth less than a row with one.
None of that tells you whether a complaint is true. It tells you what is at stake for the person making it, which is a smaller thing, and worth thirty seconds before you buy an account off the back of a thread.
Does FirmTiers make money from these firms?
Yes, from both of them, and you should factor that in while reading everything above.
- Links to firms on this site are affiliate links. If you click through to Goat Funded Trader or AquaFunded from FirmTiers and buy a challenge, we earn a commission at no cost to you. That is published in our terms and it applies to both firms in this story.
- We carry both firms' discount codes right now. Goat Funded Trader at 45% off with MATCH45, AquaFunded at 25% off with BACK2WORK, both re-verified on the morning of 8 September.
- We sell placement. A firm can buy a boost that lifts it by at most one tier above its earned rating. The cap is enforced in software, it cannot stack, it cannot reach the top tier, and it cannot suppress drama coverage or remove a warning. The mechanism is published in our methodology.
- Neither firm in this story has a boost. Two firms on our board have one active today. Goat Funded Trader and AquaFunded are not among them, and neither has a base tier different from its displayed tier.
- We publish the affiliate registry itself. The profiles for the accounts named here are public pages on this site, at /affiliates/ plus the handle, built from public posts and disclosed partnerships.
- We do not score influencer volume. Marketing spend and promotional footprint are excluded from the tier score by design, which is why a firm with 111 affiliates in our registry sits in the same tier as one with 88.
We are not outside this. We are a commercial site writing about the commercial incentives of other people, and the only useful thing we can do about that is tell you where our money comes from in the same piece rather than in a line at the bottom.
Where do Goat Funded Trader and AquaFunded sit on the board?
Both are in A tier, and both are marked losing.
- Goat Funded Trader: tier A, tier score 48, base tier A, status losing.
- AquaFunded: tier A, tier score 45, base tier A, status losing.
Neither has a paid boost active, neither is excluded from drama coverage, and neither carries a shield. Scores re-run nightly across the whole sentiment and tracker picture, so check each firm page for where it stands today. This week's stories on both firms are live alongside this one, and both of those turn on documents rather than on who was shouting.
