A trader posting as @gamez416 put up three screenshots on 8 September. They show a Maven Trading account carrying $6,068.20 of profit and a red Failed badge in the corner. He says the payout was denied.
Scroll the same screen a little lower and Maven's own Account Details panel still calls the account Funded. Two answers, one page. Maven has said nothing about either.
Why was the Maven Trading account failed?

Account 10394348 opened on 25 August with $100,000, on a Buy Now Pay Later plan costing $5 up front and $589 later. Fourteen days on it held $106,068.20 across 129 trades at a 67.00% win rate. Then the badge flipped.

Both loss gauges read 0.00%, so he did not blow a drawdown. That leaves the third panel. Consistency score, 20% of 20%, and beneath it the verdict: Passing? No.
Do the arithmetic. His biggest single trade was $1,206.40 against $6,068.20 of profit. That is 19.88%, which the dashboard rounds up to 20% and then fails him against a 20% ceiling.
Our read, and we will own it: he was inside the rule and got rounded out of it. Maven publishes the 20% on its own challenge cards and publishes nothing about how the check is computed. If a rounding choice cost this trader six thousand dollars, he is owed the formula. Nobody has one.
What does the trade history show?

Here is the part that will get quoted back at him. Three visible rows out of 129:
| ID | Time | Symbol | Type | Lots | Profit |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 36303446 | 2026-09-03 05:39:39 | US100 | SELL | 50 | +$30.10 |
| 36302530 | 2026-09-03 05:36:19 | XAUUSD | SELL | 50 | +$94.50 |
| 36302819 | 2026-09-03 05:36:18 | US100 | SELL | 50 | +$112.50 |
Two fills a second apart, different instruments, identical size, both short. A risk desk is going to look hard at that, and it should.
Then again, three rows is 2% of his history, and the header never says whether that is open time or close time. Click two prepared orders in a row and you get this exact shape. Maven holds the full export. So does he. Only one of them is being asked to prove anything, and it is not the firm.
Have other Maven Trading traders reported this?

@theproptruth picked it up four hours later with the detail that matters: the rejection came after an interview, on a claim the account was not solely managed by the trader. He never says how that reached him, and @gamez416's own post mentions no interview. Second hand, so treat it that way.
The pattern underneath is not. We hold 165 Maven Trustpilot reviews running 16 January to 5 September. 121 are one star. Nine describe a payout denied or an account closed after an interview. One from Britain on 14 August tells almost this same story: he explained his strategy, was told a third party was running his account, and was not paid.
Maven answered 120 of the 124 reviews published between January and July. Since 1 August it has answered none of 41. Seventy four replies say the page is not monitored and send traders to Feefo. Convenient timing, for a firm whose one star volume was climbing.
Is Maven Trading a scam?
Wrong word, wrong question. Here is what the record carries.
A funded account with $6,068.20 of realized gains, marked Failed and Funded on the same screen, failed on a consistency check it passes to two decimal places. Nobody has disputed any of that.
What nobody has produced is a single document from Maven. No breach email, no risk finding, no denial notice. Goat Funded Trader and AquaFunded both put their reasoning in writing this week and their traders published it. Maven has shown nothing to anyone, and we did not put the question to the firm before publishing.
The trader has shown his hand. The firm has not. Until that changes he is the only person in this story with receipts.
